Senior Associate role within a busy Commercial Insurance (Financial Lines) team based in Brisbane. The position involves advising on policy coverage and defending insurance claims across financial lines (D&O, management liability, professional indemnity), property and life insurance.

Work includes coverage analysis, defence of claims, regulatory-related matters and disputed claims, acting for insurers, brokers, underwriters and insureds across the market. You will collaborate with an experienced insurance team on complex files and have client-facing responsibility.

Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in insurance or commercial litigation practice.
Experience in general liability and professional indemnity (financial lines experience preferred).
Proven written and verbal advocacy and negotiation skills.
Ability and willingness to mentor junior lawyers; strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
