Senior Associate, Commercial Litigation & Specialty Lines (Sydney)

Senior associate opportunity in a national insurance and dispute resolution team based in Sydney. The role focuses on complex financial‑lines claims and coverage disputes, including professional indemnity, directors & officers, warranty & indemnity and cyber, with substantial reinsurance and commercial dispute work.

You will work closely with senior lawyers on high‑quality, technically challenging matters, have exposure to both local and cross‑border insurer clients, and play a mentoring role for more junior team members. The team supports flexible working arrangements (hybrid and part‑time) for the right candidate.

• Minimum 5 years post‑admission experience in litigation or insurance-focused practice.
• Proven experience with financial lines and/or reinsurance disputes preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail, excellent organisation, and a collaborative, action‑oriented approach.
• Ability to mentor junior lawyers and contribute to practice development.
