Senior Associate, Corporate M&A — Brisbane

An established national law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Corporate / M&A team in the Brisbane office. The role will involve leading and supporting domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures and general transactional work for commercial clients.

The successful candidate will work on complex deals as part of a close-knit team, liaising with partners, in-house counsel and external advisors. This is a hands-on role with opportunity for strong transactional exposure and visible client responsibility.

• Solid transactional M&A experience at senior associate level (documented experience on share and asset deals, due diligence, and sale processes).
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with proven ability to manage parts of a deal team.
• Admitted to practice in Australia and authorised to work in Brisbane.
• Excellent commercial judgment, client-facing capability and ability to work to tight deadlines.
