Senior Associate, Corporate M&A — Rome

Leading Italian law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its corporate/M&A team in the Rome office. The role focuses on managing M&A transactions, corporate governance matters and commercial/societal contracts, including cross-border mandates.

The successful candidate will handle complex dossiers with a high degree of autonomy, work directly with domestic and international clients, and contribute to a collaborative, development-focused team with ongoing training opportunities.

• 5-6 years post-qualification experience in M&A and corporate finance
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating corporate and commercial agreements
• Ability to manage complex transactions independently and liaise with international counterparties
• Fluent English (written and spoken); excellent academic record desirable
• Prior experience at a top-tier law firm or international exposure is a strong advantage
