An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join a highly regarded, top-ranked employment practice in Hong Kong. The role is focused exclusively on non-contentious employment advisory work, with the successful candidate handling their own matters under supervision while supporting Managing Associates and Partners on larger mandates.

The team advises a broad range of multinational clients on the full spectrum of employment issues — from day-to-day HR queries, contracts and policies through to restructures, redundancies and transactional employment support. As part of a genuinely global platform, the practice coordinates advice across the Asia-Pacific region and internationally, offering exposure to cross-border and strategic HR matters.

The position involves direct client contact and meaningful relationship management, along with supervision of more junior associates, trainees and paralegals. There is scope for the role to develop according to the candidate's skills, aptitudes and preferences, with opportunities to contribute to business development and collaboration across the wider practice.

6+ years' post-qualification experience, ideally trained in a well-regarded employment team
Hong Kong qualified
Comprehensive Hong Kong employment law knowledge
Prior experience handling employment matters across the APAC region
Strong analytical ability and clear written and verbal communication
Commercial approach to client service, comfortable with business development
Team player with the ability to supervise junior lawyers, trainees and paralegals
Fluent in English and Chinese (verbal, reading and writing)
Proficient in standard office and document-management software
