Senior Associate, Intellectual Property (Chemistry)

Experienced IP associate opportunity within a large, full-service international firm’s intellectual property practice. The role involves patent prosecution and support for patent litigation on chemistry-related matters, working with multidisciplinary teams on technically complex files.

The position is open to candidates for any of several U.S. offices (Boston, Denver, New York, Palo Alto or Washington, D.C.). Applicants should be prepared to provide law school, undergraduate and graduate transcripts as part of the application.

• Technical degree in chemistry (BSc, MSc or PhD) or equivalent technical background
• Substantive experience in patent prosecution and/or supporting patent litigation matters involving chemical technologies
• Strong drafting, analytical and written communication skills
• Excellent academic record; law school and undergraduate/graduate transcripts required
