Top-tier national finance practice seeks a Senior Associate to join its Miami office focused on leveraged finance and private credit transactions. The role offers hands-on responsibility on sponsor-backed acquisition financings, multi-lender and unitranche structures, mezzanine and subordinated products, and liability-management and refinancing matters.

You will work directly with lender and sponsor clients and opposing counsel, lead documentation and negotiation, and drive transactions to closing in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Work includes cross-border and multi-currency financings, cash-flow and asset-based facilities, intercreditor arrangements, and structured solutions such as preferred equity co-investments.

5–7 years' post-qualification experience in leveraged finance, private credit or related lending practices
Demonstrable experience representing financial institutions, non-bank lenders, private credit funds, BDCs or sponsors on sponsor-backed acquisition financings, unitranche/senior/mezzanine and syndicated facilities
Strong drafting and negotiation skills on credit agreements, intercreditor documents, amendments and restructuring transactions
Ability to manage transactions end-to-end, interface with clients, and work in a fast-paced team environment
Active bar admission in relevant US jurisdiction or eligibility to sit for the bar
