Senior associate role in a national finance practice, based in New York, focused on leveraged finance and private credit matters. The team handles sponsor-backed acquisition financings, multi-lender and syndicated facilities, unitranche and first-out/last-out structures, mezzanine and subordinated financings, and asset-backed/cash-flow lending.

Responsibilities include taking ownership of transactions from negotiation through closing, interfacing directly with clients and opposing counsel, and working on cross-border and multi-currency deals, liability-management and amend-and-extend transactions, refinancings, and recapitalizations in a fast-paced environment.

5–7 years' leveraged finance / private credit experience (PQE 5–7)
Proven experience representing financial institutions, private credit funds, BDCs or non-bank lenders on sponsor-backed transactions
Experience with multi-lender/syndicated facilities, intercreditor/subordination mechanics, and unitranche/mezzanine structures
Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills; ability to drive deals to close and manage client and opposing-counsel interactions
