Litigation Senior Associate — Washington, D.C.

Leading international law firm seeking a senior associate to join its Washington, D.C. litigation team. The role involves working on complex commercial, regulatory, and technology‑related disputes across federal and state forums.

The successful candidate will manage substantive aspects of cases from discovery through dispositive motion practice and trial preparation, draft briefs and motions, take and defend depositions, and work closely with senior trial counsel on strategy and client counseling.

The team regularly collaborates across practices and offices on high‑stakes matters; candidates should be prepared for a fast‑paced environment and significant client‑facing responsibility.

• Several years of post‑JD litigation experience at a law firm, government agency, or in‑house practice.
• Demonstrated experience with motion practice, discovery management, and drafting complex briefs and pleadings.
• Experience taking and defending depositions and supporting trial preparation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills; active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or eligibility to obtain admission.
