A leading specialist media & entertainment team in central London is seeking a Senior Associate with strong music sector experience to join its busy practice. The group advises a broad client base including labels, publishers, artists, producers and digital music platforms on transactional and commercial matters.

The role covers recording, distribution, publishing, management and production agreements; live events and merchandising; sponsorship and endorsement deals; content licensing for digital services; and exploitation of music rights in film, TV, games and theatre. You will work closely with partners and across other practice areas on business- and rights-led matters.

Typically 5-7 years PQE in music/entertainment law or equivalent in-house experience
Proven drafting and negotiation skills on recording, publishing, licensing and commercial agreements
Strong advisory, commercial judgement and understanding of the modern music industry
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and to help develop the practice
