Apply in confidence →A leading specialist media & entertainment team in central London is seeking a Senior Associate with strong music sector experience to join its busy practice. The group advises a broad client base including labels, publishers, artists, producers and digital music platforms on transactional and commercial matters.
The role covers recording, distribution, publishing, management and production agreements; live events and merchandising; sponsorship and endorsement deals; content licensing for digital services; and exploitation of music rights in film, TV, games and theatre. You will work closely with partners and across other practice areas on business- and rights-led matters.

- Typically 5-7 years PQE in music/entertainment law or equivalent in-house experience
- Proven drafting and negotiation skills on recording, publishing, licensing and commercial agreements
- Strong advisory, commercial judgement and understanding of the modern music industry
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and to help develop the practice
