Senior Associate, Statutory Compensation (Melbourne)

Senior‑level litigation role in a nationally recognised statutory compensation team, based in Melbourne. The team advises and represents major public compensation schemes and government insurers on complex statutory liability and indemnity matters.

This role involves managing a varied litigation caseload across Victorian courts, providing strategic advice on statutory compensation law, mentoring junior lawyers and maintaining strong client relationships. You will join a collaborative team that embraces technology and flexible ways of working.

• Minimum 5 years post‑admission experience with a focus on statutory compensation or workers’ compensation litigation.
• Practical experience across Victorian statutory compensation regimes and conducting matters before Magistrates’, County and Supreme Courts.
• Strong file and client management skills, commercial judgment and attention to technical detail.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, lead matters, and mentor junior lawyers.
