Leading global law firm seeking a Senior Capital Markets Associate to join its San Diego office and support a national capital markets and public company advisory practice. The role focuses on public company reporting and compliance, corporate governance, and capital markets work for issuers and underwriters across life sciences, technology, and digital asset sectors.

The associate will draft and review SEC filings (including periodic reports and proxy statements), advise on Section 13/16 obligations, and support offerings and governance matters. The position involves collaborative teamwork on complex transactions, client-facing work, and contributions to firm and pro bono initiatives.

JD from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in California
Approximately 5+ years' capital markets experience with public company reporting and compliance
Experience with periodic reporting, proxy statements, Section 13 and Section 16 filings
Strong knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Exchange Act of 1934; familiarity with Nasdaq and NYSE listing and governance rules
Excellent written and verbal communication, legal research and drafting skills, and ability to work independently and in teams
Experience at a large AmLaw-caliber firm preferred
