Seeking a Senior Conflicts Attorney to join a global firm's Legal Risk Management team in Chicago. The role focuses on reviewing and clearing conflicts of interest, advising on professional responsibility issues, and negotiating outside counsel guidelines across multiple jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will work closely with Conflicts and New Business Intake teams, coordinate searches and communications with attorneys across offices, assist with engagement letters and waivers, and lead timely resolution of conflicts reports. The role includes contributing to ethics and legal-risk guidance and supporting special projects as needed.

U.S. law degree and active law license in good standing
5+ years of related experience in conflicts, ethics, or legal risk management
Strong oral and written communication, attention to detail, and analytical/problem-solving skills
Familiarity with rules of professional responsibility and experience negotiating outside counsel guidelines
Ability to work with new software systems, manage multiple assignments, and operate in a hybrid work arrangement
