Senior Corporate M&A and Private Equity Associate — Tampa

A leading global law firm is seeking a senior-level corporate associate to join its M&A and private equity practice in Tampa, Florida. This is a full-time role for a candidate with 6–8+ years of corporate transactional experience who thrives on running sophisticated deals and leading deal teams.

The position involves working with private equity sponsors, family offices, portfolio companies, founder-led businesses, and other enterprises on buyouts, add-on acquisitions, growth equity investments, recapitalizations, and exits. The team advises across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, technology, professional services, infrastructure, insurance, education, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, and financial services, drawing on a global platform of transactional and regulatory specialists.

• J.D. with excellent academics from a well-respected, ABA-accredited law school
• Admission to The Florida Bar, or willingness to become admitted promptly
• 6–8+ years of corporate transactional experience with a strong focus on M&A at a leading law firm
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage all aspects of a transaction
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
• Preferred: significant cross-border and multi-jurisdictional experience, prior representation of private equity funds and portfolio companies, and interest in building long-term client relationships in Florida and nationally
