Experienced transactional associate opportunity on a busy private equity and corporate transactions team in Pittsburgh. The role supports a national private equity practice that advises sponsors and portfolio companies across the full investment lifecycle — M&A, financings and strategic day-to-day counsel.

You'll work on complex acquisitions and sponsor-backed transactions, taking a hands-on role in drafting, negotiating and closing deals. The team values attorneys who can combine technical deal execution with a commercial, relationship-driven approach to client work.

5–7 years' relevant transactional experience (acquisitions/M&A), ideally with private equity sponsor or portfolio company work
Proven drafting and negotiation skills on transaction documents (purchase agreements, ancillary agreements, financing documents)
Ability to manage deal processes and coordinate cross-functional teams
Strong commercial judgment, client-facing experience and interest in business development
Juris Doctor and admission (or eligibility) to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
