Senior Legal Adviser role within a multidisciplinary Energy practice based in Amsterdam. The team advises on complex energy law matters across Regulation, M&A, Finance and Litigation, supporting clients active in the energy transition.

The role focuses on providing subject-matter support to fee-earning lawyers and the business development team: keeping the team up to date on regulatory developments, building and maintaining know‑how and precedent material, preparing client updates and pitch content, organising expert sessions and contributing to innovation in delivery of legal services.

This is a hands‑on, collaborative position working with lawyers across practice groups and with external organisations and associations in the energy sector. The role reports into the head of the Regulation practice group and forms part of the broader Legal Operations / legal advisory function.

At least 7 years' post‑qualification experience in energy law or as a legal adviser/counsel with an energy focus
Strong knowledge of energy regulation and the ability to work across Regulation, M&A, Finance and Litigation matters
Excellent drafting, research and knowledge‑management skills; experience preparing client updates, pitch materials and templates
Fluent in Dutch and English, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Innovative, self‑starting, well organised and comfortable contributing to business development and client events
