Experienced legal professional sought to join the government & public practice as a (Senior) Professional Support Lawyer. You will provide substantive legal research, draft and co-draft legal guidance, and keep litigators and advisers up to date on developments in administrative, environmental and planning law.

You will be embedded in a multidisciplinary team advising both commercial clients (developers, contractors) and public-sector bodies. The role combines billable-support work on complex regulatory and permitting matters with non-billable knowledge development: writing updates and publications, preparing internal briefings, and supporting presentations and training.

The office offers a collaborative, development-focused environment within a large Dutch full-service firm, with opportunities to contribute to the practice’s academic and practical profile.

  • Master's degree in Dutch law (Nederlands Recht)
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience in a comparable role (support lawyer, avocat/legal counsel, court or government jurist, or lecturer in administrative law)
  • Strong substantive knowledge of administrative law, environmental law and/or spatial planning
  • Excellent written and spoken Dutch; ability to prepare clear legal summaries and client-facing materials
