Senior role within a national corporate insurance & financial services team. The position offers flexible working across Australia (multiple offices/hybrid) and is open to full-time, part-time or contract arrangements.

The team advises insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries and financial institutions on regulatory and transactional matters. Work will include financial services regulation and compliance, insurance M&A and portfolio transfers, drafting treaty and facultative reinsurance arrangements, policy drafting and interpretation, distribution and outsourcing issues, placement of specialty insurance (including W&I and D&O), and regulatory enforcement/remediation matters.

This is a senior, hands-on role within a collaborative team that provides genuine career progression and flexible work arrangements.

Minimum 5 years post-admission legal experience.
Experience in a front-end or corporate insurance role (insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries).
Experience in related financial services areas (superannuation, wealth management or funds) highly regarded.
Strong technical drafting and advisory skills, with clear written communication.
