Sponsor Finance Associate, Corporate — Chicago

Mid-level associate role in a major law firm’s Corporate group, joining the Sponsor Finance team in Chicago. The position focuses on complex financing matters for private equity sponsors, borrowers, private credit funds, alternative lenders and banks.

Work will include lead and supporting roles on acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, refinancings, incremental facilities and bespoke credit structures. The office offers a collaborative team environment and standard firm benefits and professional development support.

• 3–5 years of transactional experience in sponsor/syndicated or private credit finance
• Experience representing private equity sponsors, borrowers, private credit funds, alternative lenders and/or banks
• Comfort with acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, refinancings and bespoke credit structures
• Active Illinois bar admission
• Strong drafting, negotiating and deal-management skills
