Staff Attorney, Business Restructuring & Reorganization — New York

Experienced bankruptcy associate (staff attorney, non-partner track) to join a national business restructuring and reorganization team in New York. The role supports firmwide bankruptcy and restructuring representations, coordinating retention and court disclosure processes and assisting with special counsel engagements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing required court filings and retention materials, supporting Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings and distressed acquisitions, and contributing to practice-area research and client-facing or internal publications. The role requires strong drafting, organizational, and time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume practice.

• 4–6 years' relevant bankruptcy/restructuring experience
• Proven experience supporting Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, or distressed acquisitions (company-side focus)
• Admission in good standing to the Ohio Bar (required)
• Excellent legal research and writing skills; strong organization and time-management abilities
