The team handles federal, state, and local tax disputes for a mix of individual, corporate, and government clients, with matters that include IRS examinations, litigation, and negotiated resolutions.
Successful candidates will work closely with senior litigators on complex IRS disputes and related litigation, and will develop advocacy, research, and written-submission skills in a high-volume, collaborative environment.

- 1–5 years of tax practice experience (law firm or government) with exposure to IRS disputes and tax litigation
- LL.M. in Tax required
- Admission to the California bar

- Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and ability to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced team
- Willingness to work in-office in San Francisco
