Entry-Level Tax Associate - Silicon Valley

An established law firm is seeking a highly qualified entry-level associate to join its Tax practice in Silicon Valley. The role involves working closely with the firm's corporate practice on a broad range of transactional tax matters.

Responsibilities will include advising clients on tax aspects of corporate mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; partnerships, LLCs, and joint ventures; private equity transactions and fund formation; real estate transactions, real estate fund formation, and REITs; venture capital transactions and fund formation; and financing and capital markets transactions.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively in teams, take on increasing responsibility for components of transactions, and develop the ability to manage assignments independently. • J.D. or LLM candidate (Class of 2026 or 2027)
• Demonstrated interest in tax law and transactional practice
• Coursework, internships, clerkships, or other experience involving tax, corporate, or transactional matters is preferred but not required
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams
