An established national practice group is seeking 2–6 year associates to focus on intellectual property and commercial transactions for technology companies. This is a multi-office opening with a preference for candidates based in Palo Alto, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Boston, or Washington, D.C.

Associates will primarily structure, draft, and negotiate a broad range of intellectual property and commercial agreements, including license, service, development, distribution, and partnering arrangements. The role also involves advising on the intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, financings, and other multidisciplinary transactions.

This is an opportunity for self-motivated and entrepreneurial attorneys with a strong interest in technology companies at all stages of growth to contribute to a dynamic practice. A technical or science background is beneficial but not required.

2–6 years of experience in intellectual property transactions
Demonstrated interest in a career focused on intellectual property and commercial transactions
Experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating license, service, development, distribution, and partnering agreements
Superior academic credentials
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Technical or science background beneficial but not required
