A full-service AmLaw 100 firm is seeking an associate to join its Toxic Tort and Asbestos practice in its Philadelphia office. The role involves all phases of toxic tort and asbestos litigation in a collaborative, growing practice group.

The successful candidate will handle case management, motion practice, and discovery, and will take part in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. The practice defends a wide range of defendants — including manufacturers, distributors, contractors, premises owners, and entities in industries such as shipbuilding, energy, education, and construction — in state and federal courts nationwide, serving as national coordinating, regional, and local counsel.

Strong research and writing skills are essential. While prior toxic tort experience is preferred, attorneys with substantive litigation experience in any arena who demonstrate a genuine interest in toxic tort law are encouraged to apply.

At least 1–7 years of litigation experience, ideally in toxic tort and asbestos matters
Experience in case management, motion practice, discovery, and handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
Strong legal research and writing skills
Admission to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars required; Delaware Bar admission a plus
Substantive litigation background and a demonstrated interest in toxic tort law
