A full-service, AmLaw 100 firm is actively seeking an associate to join its Toxic Tort & Environmental practice in Orange County, California. The role involves handling all phases of toxic tort and environmental litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.

The practice represents a diverse range of clients in state, federal, and administrative hearings and trials, including Superfund multi-site litigation and coordinated Federal Multi-District Litigation. Clients include generators, landowners, municipalities, site operators, and companies ranging from family-owned businesses to multi-national corporations and Fortune 500 companies. The firm is also frequently selected as National Counsel in mass tort and products liability litigation.

While prior experience in toxic tort and environmental law is preferred, the firm is open to developing talented attorneys with excellent skills in any litigation arena. 1–7 years of experience
Experience in all phases of toxic tort and environmental litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery
Experience handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
Strong research and writing skills
Admission to the California Bar
Substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in toxic tort and environmental law
