Apply in confidence →Senior in-house compliance lawyer to support the Deputy General Counsel for the EMEA region. You will help lead regional risk and compliance workstreams, advise regional leadership on regulatory and legal-service issues, and support implementation of global policies and training across multiple jurisdictions.
Core responsibilities include managing EU regulatory matters, AML and anti‑bribery issues, advising on local regulatory and employment matters, drafting and negotiating legal documents and policies, delivering regional risk and compliance training, and coordinating the regional risk community. The role requires regular travel across EMEA.
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience.
- Admission to practice in an EU Member State and experience in corporate, commercial or transactional work across multiple jurisdictions.
- Practical experience with AML, anti-bribery/anti-corruption and EU regulatory issues; in-house or dedicated risk-management experience preferred.
- Proven drafting, training and project-management skills; able to deliver regional compliance training and implement policy.
- Excellent written and spoken English, strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to advise senior management and work confidentially.
- Comfortable working with limited supervision, managing competing priorities and regular travel within EMEA.
