Apply in confidence →Join a national corporate team as an Associate focused on Future Energy transactions. The role sits in the firm's Belfast office and offers regular exposure to renewables M&A across technologies such as wind, solar, battery, AD, hydro, WtE and EVCI.
You will work on acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and related commercial arrangements, supporting and project-managing due diligence, drafting and negotiating ancillary documents and assisting on key transaction agreements. The team works closely with sector specialists across the wider Future Energy group and other transactional support teams.
This is a hands-on role for a technically strong, commercially minded solicitor who enjoys working in a collaborative, sector-focused practice and wants to develop a career in clean energy M&A.
- Qualified solicitor (SRA or Law Society registered) with 1–4 PQE.
- Post-qualification experience on clean energy or renewables M&A transactions (acquisitions, disposals, JVs).
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills; experience coordinating due diligence and transaction workstreams.
- Commercial awareness, good organisational and communication skills, and a collaborative team focus.
