Associate, Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation — Chicago

Well-regarded national law firm seeks an associate to join its Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice in Chicago. The role focuses on executive compensation and employee benefits counseling, particularly in the context of M&A and private equity transactions, and on public-company executive compensation matters.

The team advises on plan design and compliance, change-in-control and retention arrangements, equity and deferred compensation matters, and transactional compensation issues. Candidates will work on cross-practice matters with private equity and corporate deal teams.

• Juris Doctor and admission to, or eligibility to seek admission to, the Illinois bar
• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience advising on executive compensation and employee benefits
• Transactional experience, especially with private equity-backed M&A and public-company executive compensation
• Strong drafting, client counseling, and cross-team collaboration skills
