Senior associate role in the New York office of a leading international law firm’s employee benefits and executive compensation practice. The position supports U.S. and international corporate clients on plan design, implementation and regulatory compliance across complex transactions and corporate restructurings.

Responsibilities include leading associate work on mergers, acquisitions and private equity matters (due diligence, risk identification and post-closing processes), drafting and negotiating transactional and executive compensation documents, and coordinating across practice groups to deliver practical, business-focused solutions.

Hybrid working is supported with telecommuting within the NYC metro area allowed two days per week.

  • J.D., LL.M. or equivalent and approximately 3 years' related legal experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in employee benefits and executive compensation matters, including transactional support for M&A and private equity deals.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating compensation and benefits documents, conducting due diligence, and advising on compliance with Section 409A and 208G.
  • Eligible for or admitted to practice in New York.
