Apply in confidence →Top-tier New York law office seeks a junior to mid-level associate to join its Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits practice focusing on ERISA and employee benefits matters. The role involves counselling on ERISA compliance and tax-qualified retirement plans across transactional and regulatory contexts.
Work will include advising on retirement plan design and compliance in relation to fund formation, investment management and structured finance matters. Experience with 401(k), pension and health & welfare plans is advantageous. The team values strong technical skills, clear drafting, and practical problem-solving.
- 2–3 years of ERISA / employee benefits experience
- Admission to the New York Bar
- Solid knowledge of ERISA and tax-qualified retirement plans
- Experience or familiarity with fund formation, investment management or structured finance contexts
- Experience with 401(k), pension and health & welfare plans preferred
- Excellent academic and writing skills
