Associate — Global Finance (Lending) — New York

Top-tier international law firm seeks an associate to join its Global Finance group in New York. The role focuses on syndicated lending and private credit/direct lending matters, working for borrower and lender clients across leveraged and sponsor-backed transactions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating financing documentation and taking a lead role on financing transactions. Familiarity with sponsor finance / LBO financings is preferred.

Candidates must be admitted to, or eligible for admission to, the New York bar.

• Minimum ~3 years' transactional experience in syndicated lending and/or private credit/direct lending
• Experience representing borrowers and/or lenders on leveraged and sponsor-backed financings
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills on financing documents
• Familiarity with sponsor finance / LBO financings preferred
• Admission to, or eligibility for admission to, the New York bar
