Top-tier global markets team seeking a mid-level derivatives associate to join its New York office. The team advises major banks, funds and institutional clients across OTC derivatives, structured credit, repo/securities lending, collateralised financing and emerging areas such as digital assets and fintech.

The role combines transactional drafting and negotiation with advisory and regulatory work. You will work on matters from term sheet through closing, support cross-border mandates, and liaise with senior colleagues and clients. The team offers structured training, access to newlaw/automation resources and frequent internal and external secondment opportunities.

New York-qualified associate with derivatives experience (credit derivatives and structured credit preferred)
Familiarity with the US regulatory regime and bankruptcy issues applicable to derivatives
Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills
Experience on cross-border matters and working with institutional clients
Excellent academic track record, attention to detail and strong client relationship skills
