Associate — Insurance Coverage Litigation, Phoenix

Experienced insurance coverage litigator sought for a busy Phoenix litigation team. The role involves handling coverage disputes from pleadings through hearings and alternative dispute resolution, drafting coverage opinions, and advising clients on policy interpretation.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting pleadings and briefs, preparing and responding to written discovery, conducting legal research, managing document review, and appearing at depositions, hearings, and mediations as needed. The team values strong writing, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive matters.

• 3–5 years of post-qualification litigation experience, with insurance coverage matters preferred
• Admission to practice in Arizona (additional admissions a plus)
• Experience in discovery, law and motion practice, and state and federal court proceedings
• Excellent legal writing, analytical and research skills (Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis)
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work effectively in a team
