Associate, Real Estate — Montréal

Senior associate-level role within a busy real estate team in the Montréal office of a highly regarded national law firm. You will work on high-value real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, financings and development matters.

The position offers early, substantive client-facing responsibility as part of a collaborative group; associates are expected to participate on multi-disciplinary teams and manage file workstreams from day one.

• 2–5 years' post-call real estate transactional experience in private practice
• Excellent academic record and strong drafting and communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team on complex matters and manage multiple files
• Comfort with commercial real estate transactions: acquisitions, sales, financings, joint ventures and development
