We are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join a leading financial services disputes team, working on a hybrid basis from offices in Bristol, Birmingham or Manchester. This role is ideal for a junior qualified lawyer with 1+ PQE looking to develop within a large, busy and consistently growing practice.

You will manage a varied contentious caseload for key financial services clients, providing strategic and commercial advice across a range of disputes and claims while working closely with senior team members. The role also involves business development activities, nurturing existing client relationships and building new ones, as well as collaborating with colleagues across nationwide offices.

The team is one of the UK's largest dedicated financial services disputes practices, acting for major UK banks, international banks, challenger banks and fintechs. Chambers rates the practice in the top tier of firms outside London. The culture is supportive and collaborative, with a focus on individual development and contribution.

Qualified Solicitor with 1–5 years' PQE
Experience in financial disputes, insurance, property or commercial litigation
Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development
Ability to understand client business needs
Ambitious and enthusiastic team player
