Associate, Tax (Real Estate) — Los Angeles

Growing tax team in a major international law practice is seeking associates to join its Los Angeles office. The role focuses on federal and state tax matters with a strong emphasis on real estate transactions and REIT-related work.

Candidates will work on technically sophisticated tax issues, conduct legal research, and contribute to client-facing documentation. The team values clear writing, persuasive oral advocacy, and creative problem-solving on novel and complex matters.

• Juris Doctor (JD) and bar-qualified or on track; law school class years 2022 and above
• Strong technical tax research and writing skills
• Experience with or strong interest in real estate tax matters, including REITs
• Excellent academic record, strong analytical abilities, and effective oral communication
