Bankruptcy Partner - Los Angeles

Leading national law firm is seeking a senior bankruptcy partner to join its Los Angeles restructuring practice. The role will involve leading complex chapter 11 restructurings, debtor and creditor representations, and distressed M&A or asset sales.

The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team advising corporate and creditor clients on sophisticated in-court and out-of-court restructurings. This is a client-facing role with opportunities to originate work and shape practice strategy in the market.

Applicants should be prepared to take on a senior leadership role within the office and collaborate with national restructuring colleagues on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Established track record of leading chapter 11 cases and restructuring transactions
• Active admission to the California bar (or eligible for admission)
• Proven client origination and relationship-management skills
