A well-established Canadian capital markets team seeks a 2–5 PQE associate to join its Vancouver office. The role focuses on public and private securities matters, including drafting prospectuses, offering documents, information circulars and agency/underwriting agreements, and providing practical securities compliance advice.

The team works across industries including mining, technology and industrial sectors and advises issuers, underwriters, private equity and government entities on public offerings, reverse takeovers, restructurings and qualifying transactions. Candidates should be proactive, technically strong and able to manage time-sensitive client requests.

Admission in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia is required. Applicants should be prepared to work collaboratively in a collegial environment and to take on varied responsibilities to grow their capital markets practice. Please include a recent deal sheet with your application.

2–5 years post-call securities / capital markets experience
Strong drafting and technical skills (prospectuses, filing statements, information circulars, agency/underwriting agreements)
Practical knowledge of Canadian securities laws and exchange rules
Experience with private M&A or drafting share/asset purchase agreements is an asset
Admission and good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
Self-starter, able to work under tight deadlines and collaboratively within a team
