A full-service AmLaw 100 firm is seeking an attorney to join its Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice in its Akron, Ohio office. The role sits within a team that regularly handles state and federal litigation — including appeals and regulatory proceedings — for local, national and international clients, as well as before federal, state and local agencies.

The practice represents a broad client base spanning Fortune 500 corporations, national and international companies, small and local businesses, and individuals and entrepreneurs. Industries served range from manufacturing, banking, insurance and investment companies to medical services and devices, technology and telecommunications, and construction contractors and project managers.

At least 4–15 years of complex commercial litigation experience
Experience representing companies across a variety of federal and state litigation matters, including financial fraud, securities, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, partnership and shareholder disputes, loan disputes, construction litigation and UCC litigation
Full-spectrum litigation skills: preparing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, managing complex discovery, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations and preparing cases for trial
Admission to the Ohio Bar required
