Senior attorney role in a busy Compensation & Benefits group focused on tax-qualified retirement plans and health and welfare/ERISA matters. The team advises on plan design, administration, compliance testing, IRS and DOL filings and audits, plan document drafting, and corrections.

Work includes counseling on benefit plan issues arising in M&A and other transactions; ESOP and plan-asset experience is a plus. The team offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive, resource-rich environment for professional development.

J.D. and active admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
Minimum 6 years post-qualification experience advising on ERISA and tax-qualified retirement plans and health & welfare plans
Proven experience with plan design, drafting plan documents and disclosures, compliance testing, IRS/DOL filings and audits, and correction procedures
Experience advising on benefit issues in M&A and other transactions; ESOP and ERISA plan-asset experience a plus
Excellent writing, oral communication and analytical skills
