Seeking a conflicts staff attorney to support a national law firm's conflicts and new-business intake function. The role can be performed remotely within reasonable commuting distance of several West Coast offices (Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Culver City, San Francisco) and will focus on screening new matters, advising attorneys on potential issues, and supporting risk-management initiatives.

Day-to-day responsibilities include running and analyzing conflicts database searches, coordinating with intake attorneys and practice teams to clear potential conflicts, assisting with drafting waivers where appropriate, updating training materials, and participating in special projects to improve intake processes.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience conducting conflicts analysis in a large law firm or comparable environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of conflicts-of-interest rules under the applicable Rules of Professional Conduct
  • Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and customer-service orientation
  • Ability to build relationships with attorneys, work to deadlines, and manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Intapp Open or similar conflicts/intake systems preferred
