A leading international law firm's Debt Finance practice is seeking an attorney with one to three years of experience to join its Los Angeles office. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors in a range of debt financing transactions.

The position offers significant hands-on deal work, including closing transactions and preparing drafting documents and issues lists in connection with secured lending and other financing matters. Attorneys work across multiple, diverse projects simultaneously in a fast-paced practice.

Candidates with less than one full year of experience should apply directly; the firm is not accepting agency submissions for those with under a year of experience.

1–3 years of experience representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions
Working knowledge of secured lending transactions
Experience closing transactions and drafting documents and issues lists
Familiarity with Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, acquisition financing (including commitment letters), and debt securities offerings (high yield and/or convertible notes) preferred, along with general corporate law
JD or equivalent and demonstrated high academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
Prior training and development experience at a large law firm
Ability to manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
