Associate, Debt Finance — Los Angeles

Mid-level associate opportunity in a leading finance practice, focused on debt financings for lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors. The role offers hands-on exposure to secured lending, leveraged and structured finance transactions and related documentation.

Ideal candidates will be part of a collaborative deal team, contributing to transaction closings, drafting and negotiating agreements, and advising on commercial and UCC Article 9 issues. The team works across commercial lending, acquisition financings and debt securities matters.

• 1–3 years of transactional experience in debt finance, representing lenders, borrowers or private equity sponsors
• Working knowledge of secured lending and UCC Article 9; experience with closing processes and drafting transaction documents
• Familiarity with acquisition financing, commitment letters, and debt securities (e.g. high-yield/convertible notes) preferred
• JD (or equivalent) with strong academic credentials and prior training at a large law firm
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
