Growing Debt Finance group in Los Angeles seeks a 1st–3rd year associate to work on leveraged and acquisition financings, secured lending and sponsor-backed transactions. The role involves document drafting, preparing issues lists and supporting deal closings across a variety of lenders, borrowers and private equity clients.

Successful candidates will have formal US legal credentials, training at a large law firm, and the ability to manage multiple transactions and deliver detailed, high-quality work in a fast-paced practice.

1–3 years post-JD experience in debt finance, lending or leveraged finance transactions
Experience representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors on financings
Working knowledge of secured lending and closing mechanics; familiarity with drafting financing documents and issues lists
Knowledge of Article 9 UCC, acquisition financing and debt securities offerings preferred
JD (or equivalent), strong academic record, and prior training at a large law firm
Ability to handle multiple matters, strong attention to detail and excellent drafting skills
