A leading international law firm is seeking a Dispute Resolution Attorney to join its Litigation group. The role is open to candidates in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Houston.

The position is part of an established international disputes practice handling complex country-specific and multi-jurisdictional cases across commercial, maritime, and transportation matters. The team represents a diverse mix of clients, from high-net-worth individuals and their families to corporate entities and governments, on an array of personal, professional, and business disputes.

Responsibilities will include all phases of litigation and arbitration; managing state and federal insurance claims across pre-litigation and litigation phases; reviewing and analyzing contracts for indemnity obligations; drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; handling all phases of discovery; and taking and defending depositions and court appearances. The successful candidate will also contribute to the team's profile through business development, including writing and networking with private wealth contacts and intermediaries.

Strong academic credentials (J.D. required)
7–10 years of litigation experience at a law firm
California Bar membership in good standing required
Experience taking and defending depositions and handling court proceedings
Excellent drafting, writing, research, and communication skills
Experience with state and federal litigation, insurance defense, broker liability, and independent contractor issues preferred
Strong project management and ability to manage competing priorities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
