EHS Associate — Health & Safety, Sheffield

We are seeking a motivated junior solicitor to join a busy health & safety and regulatory team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role offers a balance of advisory and contentious work across regulatory enforcement, fire safety, product compliance and transactional regulatory advice.

You will work on a varied caseload, supporting investigations and enforcement proceedings through to trial, conducting regulatory due diligence for transactions, and advising on product safety and recall matters. The team provides structured supervision and early responsibility within a collaborative environment.

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with approximately 1 2 years' PQE (candidates slightly outside this range may be considered)
• Interest in regulatory, health & safety and environmental law; willingness to learn specialist areas such as fire safety and product compliance
• Experience or aptitude for contentious work and case management, plus transactional/regulatory advisory work (due diligence, drafting contractual provisions)
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced team
