Employment Associate — London

London office of a leading US law firm is hiring an English-qualified Employment lawyer to join a small, growing employment team advising technology, life sciences and other growth companies. The role is client-facing and offers exposure to cross-border matters and domestic advisory work across the employment lifecycle.

The role will support the UK employment partner and senior associate and work closely with the firm's US employment team and other practice groups. You will advise on advisory employment matters and support corporate transactions (M&A, financings, IPO-related work), often with a cross-border element; the team does not handle contentious litigation in-house.

• English law qualified with (or eligible for) a Solicitors' practising certificate.
• 1–3 years PQE specialising in employment law.
• Experience drafting employment and consultancy agreements and advising on terminations, settlement agreements and day-to-day employment issues.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong interpersonal and commercial skills. Experience with tech/VC clients and cross-border matters advantageous.
