National law firm is seeking a mid-level employment & labor attorney to join its Employment and Labor practice. The role is open across multiple California offices (San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Monica) and will handle a mix of litigation and counseling matters for employer clients.

The position involves case development and management, legal research and writing, all aspects of discovery, witness interviews and investigations, and brief drafting. The team also advises clients on employment policies, statutory and regulatory compliance, and employment and separation agreements.

  • 2–5 years of post-qualification employment & labor experience
  • Active membership in the California bar required
  • Demonstrated experience in case development, discovery, witness interviews/investigations, and brief writing
  • Experience providing employment counseling on policies, compliance, and separation agreements
  • Strong academic credentials, excellent communication and legal writing skills, high motivation and initiative
  • Willingness to mentor and train junior attorneys; strong work ethic
