Growing Employment & Labor team seeks a 2-5 year associate to work on a mix of litigation and counseling matters across West Coast offices (San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Monica).

The role combines case development and litigation work (research, discovery, witness interviews, investigations, brief drafting) with employment counseling (policy and practice advice, statutory and regulatory compliance, and employment and separation agreements). The team offers formal benefits, paid time off, and parental/fertility support.

  • 2-5 years' experience in employment & labor law (litigation and counseling experience preferred)
  • Experience with discovery, legal research & writing, witness interviews/investigations, and brief writing
  • Advising clients on employment policies, compliance, and drafting employment/separation agreements
  • Strong academic credentials, excellent communication and legal writing skills, high motivation and initiative
  • Willingness to mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team development
  • Admission to the California bar required
