An established Employment & Trade Secret group is seeking an associate with 2–3 years of management-side employment litigation and counseling experience to join its Seattle office.

The role involves litigating employment matters, including restrictive covenant and trade secret disputes, as well as advising fast-growing technology companies on day-to-day employment matters such as terminations, leaves of absence, internal investigations, reductions in force, and policy drafting and review.

The associate will also counsel clients on employment-related issues arising in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions. Regular in-person attendance in the Seattle office is required.

At least 2–3 years of management-side employment litigation and counseling experience
Experience litigating employment cases, including covenants not to compete and trade secret disputes
Ability to advise technology companies on terminations, leaves, internal investigations, reductions in force, and policy drafting
Experience with employment issues in M&A and corporate transactions preferred
Washington Bar membership preferred
Excellent academic credentials and oral, written, and interpersonal skills
