Associate - Energy & Project Finance

An Am Law 50 firm is seeking an Associate to join its Energy & Project Finance group. This position is open to candidates based in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Miami.

The role focuses on project finance transactions involving sponsors, investors, developers, and lenders, with a particular emphasis on renewable power and energy transition matters. The successful candidate will take on significant responsibility for drafting primary deal documents.

• 3-5 years of experience in project finance transactions, including work with sponsors, investors, developers, and/or lenders, with a focus on renewable power and energy transition.
• Capable of taking significant responsibility for drafting primary deal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements (including tax equity), financing agreements, and joint venture agreements.
• Team-oriented with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working effectively within a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where the candidate sits.
