Flexible, interim role supporting a major Asia-wide equities project focused on cash equities execution, stock borrowing and funding transactions, and related principal/hedging activities. The role is primarily project-based across Asia ex-Japan, with some BAU backfill as required.

Day-to-day responsibilities include re-papering documentation (including pledge GMSLAs, stock borrowing agreements and tripartite arrangements), conducting due diligence on equity financing products and supporting OTC equity derivatives transactions where needed. You will be supported by an internal sponsor and a dedicated client team and will have access to firm resources, training and networking opportunities while on assignment.

Qualified lawyer with c.4–5 years PQE (eligible to practise in Hong Kong)
Practical experience with stock borrowing transactions, GMSLAs, pledge GMSLAs and tripartite agreements
Exposure to OTC equity derivatives and equity financing products
Experience on entity restructuring projects advantageous
Strong English communication skills; Chinese language ability a plus
Based in Hong Kong and available for interim/contract engagement
